Spring Green Communications proudly announces Nellie Betzen’s promotion to vice president.

Since joining the agency in 2019, Nellie has led key accounts, including Phillips 66 and Argus Companies, and she consistently brings sharp strategy, a commitment to client success and a growth mindset.

Nellie is passionate about using strategic communications to drive business value. She has a particular love for speechwriting and developing comprehensive internal and external campaigns. She develops and executes communications for every audience, including board members, executives, employees, customers and consumers. From a Spring Green leadership perspective, Nellie strengthens the agency’s foundation and future direction — stewarding financial strategy, architecting our project‑scoping tool and helping define the agency’s first AI Principles.

Before joining Spring Green, Nellie spent nearly a decade working in Houston’s energy sector, leading work across public relations, internal and executive communications, brand management and advertising. She has delivered award-winning internal communications for major corporate transformations, managed iconic consumer brands and built data-driven marketing campaigns that strengthened revenue and brand visibility.
