The Communicators Who Show Up

Good communication has always been about more than words. It is about listening carefully, understanding what people need and helping connect them to something larger than themselves. At Spring Green, that doesn’t stop when the workday ends.

Our team shows up for our clients every day. But we also show up for our communities, and the two are not as different as you might think.

Listening is the foundation of both

Before we craft a message, we listen. We ask questions, we seek to understand nuances and we build from there. That same instinct carries our team into volunteer work. Whether running a grief group for pregnancy and infant loss or co-chairing a fundraising event, the first step is always the same: paying attention to what is actually needed, not just what is easy to offer.

Advocacy is part of the job

Communications professionals are advocates by nature. We help organizations and leaders find their voice, tell their story and make their case. Volunteering gives our team another avenue for that same work, showing up for causes and using our skills to make our communities better.

Community is what we build

Every campaign, every story, every press release is ultimately about connection. So is every hour volunteered. At Spring Green, we are proud to invest in the communities where we live and work, because strong communities make everything else possible.

This is what we mean when we talk about our values of Skills, Service and Spirit. Skills we bring to every client engagement. Service we extend beyond the office. And Spirit, the genuine care and energy our team brings to both, is what ties it all together.
